MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2025:
3:11 PM Community Service Officer (CSO) Lau investigated a license plate theft that occurred near Spruce St & Thornton Ave.
4:39 PM CSO Lau investigated a report of a stolen vehicle from the area of Thornton Ave & Spruce St.
4:47 PM Officer C. Torres investigated a vehicle burglary that occurred near Cherry St & Stevenson Blvd. A laptop and DMV registration were reported taken.
9:45 PM Officer Shaffer was dispatched to the area of Cedar Blvd & Joaquin Murieta Ave for a report of an assault.
TUESDAY, APRIL 29, 2025:
3:54 AM Officer Norvell investigated a window smash vehicle burglary reported near Mowry School Rd. Reported loss included tools.
4:12 AM While on routine patrol, Officer Shaffer located a vehicle that had been burglarized on Balentine Dr.
5:51 AM Officer Norvell responded to a report of a suspicious person attempting to open mailboxes in the area of Cherry St & Stevenson Blvd.
9:10 AM CSO Lau responded to Jarvis Ave & Lido Blvd for a report of license plate theft.
3:20 PM Officer S. Torres responded to a theft that occurred near Cedar Blvd & Mowry Ave. A 32-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding warrant, theft, possession of narcotics and violation of probation. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
6:54 PM Officer Shaffer investigated a vehicle theft that occurred near Seawind Way & Willow St.
11:21 PM Officer Shaffer conducted a pedestrian stop near Thornton Ave & Hickory St. A 40-year-old male was cited for possession of narcotics.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30, 2025:
12:54 PM Officer Lara investigated a jewelry swap scam that occurred on Newpark Mall Rd.
3:41 PM Officer S. Torres investigated a mailbox break-in near Cherry St & Stevenson Blvd.
4:00 PM Officers arrested a 30-year-old male near Newark Blvd & Jarvis Ave for lewd acts with a minor. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
8:46 PM Officer Kim investigated a vehicle theft that occurred near Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd.
10:23 PM Officer Quinonez conducted a traffic stop near Thornton Ave & Ash St and arrested a 33-year-old male for an outstanding warrant. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
11:13 PM Officer Dale investigated a package theft from the area of Baine Ave & Magnolia St.
THURSDAY, MAY 1, 2025:
9:54 AM Officer Pacheco arrested a 30-year-old male for possession of narcotics near Cedar & Stevenson Boulevards. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
12:27 PM Officer Piquette was dispatched to a domestic disturbance near Willow St & Enterprise Dr. A 35-year-old female was cited for ignoring lawful orders.
8:26 PM Officer Shaffer responded to a theft reported near Sycamore St & Thornton Ave. A 27-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
9:58 PM Officer Williams responded to a disturbance near Haley & Bettencourt Streets. A 38-year-old male was cited for assault.
FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2025:
1:04 PM Officer Berlanga cited a 22-year-old female for hit and run, driving without a license, and an outstanding warrant near Civic Terrace Ave & Newark Blvd.
6:00 PM Officer Shaffer responded to a shoplifting report on Newpark Mall Rd.
9:06 PM Officer Swadener recovered a stolen vehicle near Joaquin Murieta Ave & Cedar Blvd.
SATURDAY, MAY 3, 2025:
12:22 AM Officer Orozco responded to a disturbance on Newpark Mall Road. A 34-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
4:14 AM Officer Swadener investigated an audible alarm near Cedar Blvd & Central Ave. It was determined a window smash commercial burglary had occurred.
1:53 PM Officer Lomeli investigated a mailbox burglary that occurred near Cherry St & Stevenson Blvd.
3:08 PM Officer Stevenson cited a 49-year-old female for shoplifting near Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd.
8:54 PM Officers were dispatched to Cedar Blvd & Thornton Ave for a suspicious person. A 48-year-old male was booked into Santa Rita Jail for obstructing arrest and possession of narcotics.
9:30 PM Officer Soto investigated a mailbox break-in on Joaquin Murieta Ave.
SUNDAY, MAY 4, 2025:
3:26 PM Officer Taylor investigated a license plate theft that occurred near Ruschin Dr & Musick Ave. Another stolen plate was also recovered.
8:00 PM CSO Vuong investigated a license plate theft that occurred near Newark Blvd & Thornton Ave.
