Wilmington Police have arrested six men on drug charges following an investigation.
Beginning in April, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 1200 block of Read Street. On May 1, at approximately 2:38 p.m., police executed a search warrant in that block and took 26-year-old Dale Womack, 47-year-old Nathan Wilson, 29-year-old Michael Ewell, 47-year-old Tymir Johnson, 46-year-old Michael Crippen, and 18-year-old Zymire Reid into custody without incident. Police recovered 61.25 grams of crack cocaine, 1.95 grams of heroin, 69.78 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $2,305.
Dale Womack has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $44,500 cash-only bail.
Nathan Wilson has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $42,500 cash-only bail.
Michael Ewell has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $21,500 secured bail.
Tymir Johnson has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $32,500 cash-only bail.
Michael Crippen has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Zymire Reid has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity

- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $21,000 secured bail.
