SUMMARY: On Saturday, May 3, 2025, at about 9:34 P.M., a deputy from the Chino Hills Sheriff's Station, assigned to the unincorporated area of Montclair, conducted a traffic stop of a 2012 Infinity sedan for various vehicle code violations. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield, and a traffic pursuit occurred.
The driver operated the vehicle at high rates of speed throughout multiple roadways, without due regard for the public. The driver eventually yielded at State Route 60 and State Route 71. The driver was identified as Bakr Atshan, a 25-year-old resident of Anaheim. He was later booked for felony evasion.
