Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Burglary Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. seeks the public’s help identifying the pictured male suspect, who broke into a residence and stole tools and several items on May 1, 2025.
In the 200 block of Grafton Avenue, the suspect was captured on surveillance video at approximately 5:35 a.m. entering the home through a window leading to the basement. The suspect, who wore a gray and black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue jeans, and white sneakers, took the tools, a speaker, a Ring camera, a ladder, and ceiling lights.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
