 Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on MAY 08, 2025, at approximately 09:00 hours, Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a 2-vehicle crash at the intersection of Oak Grove Rd. and Pokagon Hwy., LaGrange Twp., Cass County, Michigan. 
 
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Jiyeun Yoon (46-year-old of Berrien Springs, MI) was traveling westbound on Pokagon Hwy. when a vehicle traveling northbound on Oak Grove driven by James Wozniak (24-year-old of Niles, MI) disregarded the stop sign at Oak Grove and Pokagon Hwy., causing Wozniak’s vehicle to T-bone Yoon’s vehicle. Yoon’s vehicle came to rest in a yard on the west side of Oak Grove Rd., Wozniak ‘s vehicle rolled multiple times before it came to rest in the same yard on the west side of oak Grove Rd.
 
Both Yoon and Wozniak were transported by ambulance to Corewell Health, Lakeland Hospital, Niles, MI for injuries sustained in the crash. 
 
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
 
Assisting agencies were Central Cass FD and SMCAS Ambulance.
 
The incident remains under investigation.
