* At 404 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles north of Rutherfordton, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include... Thermal City, South Mountains State Park, Fero, Dysartsville, Union Mills, Glen Alpine, and Glenwood.
