Escaped Patient from the Minnesota Sex Offender Program in Saint Peter 
At about 0130 AM, St Peter Police were notified of an escapee from the Minnesota Sex Offender Program in Saint Peter.
Officers responded to the area and began a search for the suspect. The suspect is identified as BEAU JACOB EDWARD ZIMMER, 45 years old. ZIMMER is a white male 6 foot tall, weighing about 188 lbs, brown hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing light gray sweat pants and sweatshirt, black tennis shoes with a bright yellow accent, black backpack. He left on a black Specialized mountain bike. Zimmer is believed to be armed with an orange handled kitchen knife with an approximate 3 inch blade.
If you see Zimmer do not approach him, immediately notify 911 with his location and direction of travel.
