Today, as you have seen, the infamous section of 6th Street on the square, the one with potholes so deep we were worried about losing vehicles (and maybe a few souls), is finally getting repaired.

Thanks to the hard work of TXDOT, who stepped up after we raised the flag, made the plea, and did some begging, remediation is officially happening. Crews are on-site today, and that means lane closures while they work their magic.

We appreciate their responsiveness and effort to meet the City’s request. This stretch is a TXDOT roadway, and we’re grateful they prioritized it. Seriously, those potholes were on the verge of becoming tourist attractions.

Thank you for your patience as work gets done. And thank you, TXDOT, for helping make 6th Street safe (and sane) again.
