* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the following counties, Beaufort, Charleston and Colleton.
* WHEN...Until 545 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 240 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Heavy rainfall over Hilton Head and Fripp Island is expected to shift northward to Edisto Island after 4 AM. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Beaufort, Port Royal, Edisto Beach, Meggett, Ladys Island, Fripp Island, Parris Island and Shell Point.
