SUSPECT: Christine Mattheson, 31-year-old White Female Transient of Devore

SUMMARY: On Friday, May 09, 2025, Fontana Sheriff’s Station deputies were conducting proactive patrol in the Rosena Ranch community, located in the unincorporated area of San Bernardino. At about 11:16 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Glen Helen Pkwy. / Clearwater Pkwy. Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle and found a brown paper bag containing a large amount of stolen mail. The bag with the stolen mail was found to be in possession of the passenger in the vehicle, identified as Christine Mattheson, a 31-year-old female transient of Devore. Mattheson was subsequently found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe.
Mattheson was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
