Local Transient Arrested after Threatening Several People in the Lytle Creek Area

SUSPECT: Dana Wilson, a 57-year-old male transient who frequents San Bernardino County
VICTIM: Adult Male
SUMMARY: On Sunday, May 11, 2025, at about 9:57 a.m., Fontana Station deputies responded to a reported disturbance in the 13800 block of Hazel Drive, Lytle Creek. Several callers reported a male, later found to be Dana Wilson, a 57-year-old transient who frequents San Bernardino County, was screaming at people while holding a large stick. Deputies arrived and detained Wilson, holding a tree branch, in the 200 block of Lytle Creek Road, Lytle Creek.
Through investigation, deputies determined Wilson created several disturbances and approached a nearby church. He confronted parishioners, threatened them while holding the stick, and swung the stick nearly striking the victim. Wilson was arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center for criminal threats and assault with a weapon.
