From Secon: Blasting at Wolfe Pt Tuesday 5/13 between 9:00am-3:30pm. Airhorn signal will be used prior to blast. Expect 15-20 min delay. 
Blasting Notice:
There will be a blasting event on Tuesday May 13th between 9am-3:30pm at Wolfe Point – 4418 Tongass Avenue between MP 3.0 & 3.2. Expect 15–20-minute delays in traffic during the blasting event.
At the time of the blast, Flaggers will be stationed at the road closure point to ensure no unauthorized entry.
The following blast signals will be sounded on an air horn:
- Blast warning signal- A series of 5 (five) long signals, 5 minutes prior to blasting.
- Blasting imminent: A series of short signals 1 (one) minute prior to blast.
- All clear signal: One (1) long signal following the inspection of the blast area.
- Speed limit is 20 mph
- No pedestrian access through the bypass during this time
