Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Theft Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. seeks the public’s help identifying the suspect pictured below, who took a victim’s wallet on May 1, 2025.
At approximately 5:10 p.m., the victim was walking in the 200 block of Lafayette Street when the suspect took his wallet from his pocket and fled. The suspect, a Black male with dreadlocks, wore a black sweater, black pants, and a black ski mask
