...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED TODAY... The combination of hot temperatures in the 80s to lower 90s, very low relative humidity values between 15 to 25 percent, and gusty winds will work in tandem with dry fuels to create critical fire weather conditions today. Fires can quickly spread out of control in these conditions. The National Weather Service in Twin Cities/Chanhassen has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 9 PM CDT this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* WIND...South to southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
