Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male Hispanic adult.
Bell Police Officers responded to the 5000 block of Florence Avenue regarding a gunshot victim call. Upon arrival, officers were directed to a vehicle with front end collision damage. The victim was found in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper torso.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing. There is no additional information available at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 5000 block of Florence Ave., in the city of Bell to assist Bell Police Department regarding a shooting death investigation. The incident occurred on Monday, May 12, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
