Wilmington Police have arrested six women and one man following an investigation.
On May 7, at approximately 2:00 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 1700 block of Thatcher Street and the 2200 block of Lancaster Avenue, conducting an investigation into reports of criminal activity and quality of life concerns.
Throughout the course of their investigation, police made contact with 46-year-old Porsha Wiggins, 32-year-old Courtney Woods, and 30-year-old Shawn Blevins, who were found to be wanted on unrelated matters and were taken into custody without incident.
Police also made contact with 33-year-old Brittney Parker, 35-year-old Shanna Marrs, 35-year-old Ebony Ware, and 43-year-old Kristin Robison, who were taken into custody without incident, and charged with prostitution.
