Wilmington Police have arrested two men on gun charges following an investigation.
Beginning in May, members of the Special Operations Division Traffic Unit have been conducting an investigation into 20-year-old Meccour Redden, and 34-year-old Ralph Tucker for the production of fictitious temporary license plates.
On May 9, at approximately 11:33 a.m., police executed a search warrant in the unit block of Glenrock Drive, Claymont, DE. Police took Redden, and Tucker into custody without incident, and recovered a 9mm handgun, and a .25 caliber handgun.
Redden has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Three Counts
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $15,000 cash-only bail.
Tucker has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Three Counts
- Breach of Release
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 20 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $63,000 cash-only bail.
