Convicted Felon Arrested on Gun Charges 
Traffic stop leads to arrest of convicted felon for possession of a loaded firearm and narcotics.
On May 13, 2025, at 9:03 p.m., an astute police sergeant conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 92 and Alameda de las Pulgas on a vehicle and its driver for multiple vehicle violations. Upon contact with the driver, identified as Jason Longbrake, the sergeant was able to see baggies containing suspected methamphetamine residue in plain view. As the investigation unfolded, suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded revolver were found in the vehicle. A records check of Longbrake further identified him as being a convicted felon. The illegal items were confiscated, and Longbrake was arrested on numerous charges and booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
