Avoid the Taconic State Parkway and Route 100 areas in town as NYSP is investigating a serious traffic accident causing heavy traffic 
NCPD is advising to AVOID Taconic State Parkway from exit 8 (Millwood/Briarcliff) to exit 11 (Pinesbridge) as the highway is currently closed in response to a NYSP accident investigation. Route 100 is being used as a detour so please expect high traffic volume and congestion in the Millwood area as many travelers are also taking alternate routes if available. Travelers on adjacent county and town roads should also expect increased traffic volume and congestion until further notice.
