The Buckhannon emergency siren will sound tonight at 6:00p to signal the start of the Fireman's parade. This is a tradition from the past that stopped when the Buckhannon FIre Department moved to their new location. The siren has been reinstalled, is funtional, and will be used to not only signal the start of the parade, but also to warn residents of imminent threats throughout the year.
