Water St Construction Update 
Landscaping and Site Work to Begin on Water Street
The City of Oneonta will begin landscaping and related work on Water Street starting Monday, May 19.
From 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM on Monday, a concrete truck will be stationed at the east end turnaround for concrete placement on the bridge between the tower and Water Street.
From 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on May 19 and May 20, equipment will be active in the south lane of Water Street to place soil behind the retaining wall and prepare the area for planting. Planting will begin May 27 and is expected to be completed by May 30.
During this time, miscellaneous furniture installation will also take place.
Please note: The north lane of Water Street will remain open throughout the duration of this work.
