Hesperia Police Deploy "Party Car" Patrol Vehicles and Respond to Numerous Calls for Service

SUMMARY:
On May 9, 2025, the Hesperia Police Department began the deployment of two “Party Car” patrol vehicles that were each occupied by two deputy sheriffs. The deputies focused on calls for service related to party disturbances and firework disturbances. The deputies also proactively enforced trespassing law violations related to illegal food vendors. The Party Cars will continue to be deployed in collaboration with Hesperia City Code Enforcement in an effort to address quality-of-life issues in Hesperia City.
Between Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10, the Party Car deputies responded to 22 calls for service: 20 for loud music and two for fireworks. Thirteen Multiple Response Forms were issued. The Party Car deputies, in collaboration with Code Enforcement Officers, contacted and shutdown 16 illegal food vendors and issued three city citations.
