Needles Woman Arrested for Child Abuse
DATE/TIME: Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at approximately 8:48 p.m.
INCIDENT: PC 273A(A) - Child Abuse Causing Injury
LOCATION: 1000 block of Bailey Avenue, Needles
SUSPECT(S): Tiffany Torres, 33 Years Old, Resident of Needles
VICTIM(S): Confidential Male Juvenile, 5-Years Old, Resident of Needles
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at approximately 8:48 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to a call for service reporting possible physical abuse to a 5- year-old male. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the victim and found the child was suffering from bruising and slight abbrasions to his face. Deputies immediately began a criminal investigation and contacted the suspect at her home.
Tiffany Torres was arrested on the above mentioned-charges and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Torres remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
