The National Weather Service has upgraded our risk for severe weather.  Special concerns are for pop up super cells.  

We WILL be setting the sirens off at noon tomorrow which is our regularly scheduled Siren Test.  It is important to have other means of receiving weather alerts.  For instance:  Cell Phones, Weather Radios, Television, and Traditional Radios.  The EMA Weather Sirens are designed to alert citizens who may be outside their residence of an impending weather event.

Finally,  The Mount Olympus Weather Siren is back in operation and should be working again.
