* At 642 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located aobut 5 miles southwest of Lincoln, moving northeast at 65 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 640 PM, a 70 mph wind gust was estimated near Hartsburg, and two semi trucks were blown over on I-155 at mile marker 3. Hail up to ping pong size was also reported. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* This severe thunderstorm will be near... Lincoln around 650 PM CDT. Beason around 655 PM CDT. Waynesville around 700 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Heyworth and Wapella. This includes the following highways... Interstate 155 near mile marker 0.
