1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1925), Lincoln Street and Rose Street, Civic District
The male victim, 56, was working in the listed area as a paramedic when the suspect attempted to stab him with an object. The victim was able to restrain the suspect until officers arrived. The victim was uninjured. ARRESTED: Aisha Bennet, 45, for assault with a deadly weapon.
2. Weapon Arrest (2000), 600 Block of West Martin Luther King Boulevard, Seaport District
Officers conducted a proactive traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the listed area. The driver of the vehicle was found to have a loaded firearm and resisted arrest. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Tyrese Porter, 20, for resisting arrest and weapon charges.
3. Robbery (2119), 800 Block of East March Lane, Valley Oak District
The victim was working at an area business when two suspects brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied, and the suspects fled in a vehicle. SUSPECTS: Two Black male adults.
