* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast New Jersey, including the following counties, Essex and Union.
* WHEN...Until 230 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban areas is likely.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 108 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain with embedded thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Newark, Elizabeth, Plainfield, Bloomfield, Linden, Orange, Summit, Millburn, Caldwell, Clark, Fairfield, Union, East Orange, Irvington, West Orange, Montclair, Belleville, Westfield, Livingston and Nutley. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
