* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Central Jackson County in southern Illinois... Central Perry County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 533 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northeast of Perryville, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Carbondale, Murphysboro, De Soto, Hurst, and Gorham.

* AFFECTED AREAS: JACKSON, IL ... PERRY, MO
