Starting Saturday morning, Columbia Gas and NPL will begin work on gas lines in town. Due to flood damage, entire main lines, service lines, and meters will need to be replaced on the following streets:

Main Street
Church Street
Maryland Avenue 

Crews are already setting up staging areas in town. Work will begin on Main Street, starting with service lines before moving to main lines. Once Main Street is completed, crews will move to Church Street, and then Maryland Avenue.

All Columbia Gas and NPL employees will have official ID badges. Please don’t hesitate to ask to see their badge if you have any concerns.
