Watch Commander's Night Report - May 16, 2025



CAD CALLS: 971

1. Weapon Arrest (1545) Grafton Court and Tulipano Court, Manteca

Officers were in the listed area and attempted an enforcement stop of a vehicle. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit that ended when the vehicle became disabled. One suspect fled from the car, and force was used to take him into custody. A loaded firearm was recovered from the vehicle. ARRESTED: Laesha Garcia, 27, for evading, resisting arrest, and driving under the influence, and two juvenile males for resisting arrest and weapon charges.

2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1830) El Dorado Street and Market Street, Civic District

The male victim, 59, was in the listed area when the suspect approached and struck him with a blunt object. Officers located and arrested the suspect. The victim was treated at an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. ARRESTED: Jesus Olguin, 31, for assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of ammunition, and a warrant.

3. Homicide (2048) California Street and Third Street, Seaport District

Officers responded to the area of the call location on a report of a person shot. Officers located the male victim, 60, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Detectives responded and assumed the investigation.

4. Robbery (2220) 5700 Block of South French Camp Road, Seaport District

The male victim, 23, was working in an area business when the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded property. The suspects took property from the business and fled in a vehicle. SUSPECTS: Two Hispanic male adults.

5. Person Stabbed (0145) 300 Block of North Union Street, Park District

The male victim, 42, was chased to his residence by the suspects and stabbed with an unknown object. The suspects fled in a vehicle. The victim was treated at an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECTS: Two White male adults
