Be advised that the Water Department will be performing routine maintenance on the Gordon Place Water Tower from May 20, 2025 through June 6, 2025 (weather permitting). Due to the scope of the work being performed and the added stress on the Borough’s water system effective May 20, 2025, the Borough is implementing water conservation measures through June 6, 2025. Water conservation will help the Borough manage our water supply. The water conservation measures guidelines are provided below:
- Refrain using any type of water sprinkler system to water lawns or any type of watering system
- Sweep driveways, sidewalks, and steps, rather than using a hose.
- Cover your pool when not in use, to reduce evaporation rates.
- Water the root zone of plants instead of the foliage.
