* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central Missouri, including the following county, Saint Louis.
* WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 153 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring along creeks and streams in the warned area, including Deer, Fee Fee, Yarnell, Glaize, and Williams Creeks. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Heavy rain has ended, and additional significant accumulations are not expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... St. Louis, St. Charles, Florissant, Chesterfield, Wildwood, University City, Ballwin, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, Hazelwood, Webster Groves, Ferguson, Arnold, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland, Clayton, Jennings, St. Ann and Crestwood.
