Curb Reimagined virtual community meeting rescheduled to June 2; Survey deadline extended

Hoboken community members are invited to a rescheduled virtual community engagement session on Monday, June 2, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to provide input on the Curb Reimagined project. The meeting was previously scheduled for May 22. The project team is seeking feedback on proposed curbside management, parking, and mobility strategies as part of developing Hoboken’s first Curbside Mobility and Parking Action Plan. This plan will help shape how the City manages curb space to better serve residents, businesses, and visitors.

Proposed strategies include: expanding neighborhood loading zones to reduce double parking; introducing “smart” loading zones to improve turnover and delivery access; establishing formalized stops for Hop buses and other uses such as bike parking, green infrastructure, and bike share stations at daylit intersections; expanding the Corner Car program; creating a real-time mobile parking availability map; and more.

Registration for the virtual meeting is also available at hobokennj.gov/curbmanagement, under "upcoming events" on the home page.

The City has also extended the deadline for community members to complete the online community survey to Sunday, June 8, at 11:59 p.m. The survey is available at hobokennj.gov/curbmanagement
