* Until 400 PM CDT.

* At 311 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Buffalo, or 18 miles northeast of Springfield, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Illiopolis around 315 PM CDT. Latham around 325 PM CDT. Warrensburg around 330 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include Forsyth, Maroa and Argenta. This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 118 and 123, and between mile markers 137 and 151.
