* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 552 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Denmark, or 10 miles east of Oxford, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Shari, Hortontown, Keel, Poolville, Esperanza, Endville, Cherry Creek, Ellistown, Cambridge, Delay, Baker, Trace State Park, Sherman, New Harmony, Rough Edge, Oxford, Etta, Glenfield, Nixon, and Union Hill.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LAFAYETTE, MS ... PONTOTOC, MS ... UNION, MS

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure.
