Water Conservation Advisory now in effect - all consumers should reduce water usage as much as possible
The Town of East Greenbush and City of Rensselaer as part of the Cross Street Pump Station Upgrade project will be implementing a WATER CONSERVATION ADVISORY for all customers of the East Greenbush and Rensselaer Water Districts - this includes businesses and residents.
Consumers are advised to reduce water usage as much as possible. Please limit laundry and dishwasher use to only what is necessary. Please do not fill pools or hot tubs, and sprinkler systems should be turned off until the advisory is lifted.
The WATER CONSERVATION ADVISORY will go into effect on Wednesday, May 21 at 6:00 a.m. and we will notify all Water District customers of when the advisory is lifted. The time frame is contingent upon successful installation of a new valve and completion of this phase of the project.
Glenmore Road Residents and the Armory will be directly impacted by this work and will experience a temporary water shut down beginning at 6AM on Wednesday, May 21st . Water is expected to be restored within 24 hours, pending successful completion
of this phase. Notice will be provided as needed.
