Janesville resident arrested for two counts of Attempted First-Degree Intentional Homicide and Hit and Run.
On May 12, 2025, shortly after midnight, officers were dispatched to a hit-and-run crash near Pine Tree Plaza, located at 2900 Deerfield Drive, Janesville, WI. Two individuals on motorized bikes were traveling in the area when a gray Ford Taurus struck one of the riders, causing significant injuries. The operator of the Taurus fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The suspect vehicle was eventually located. After reviewing evidence gathered from the scene, investigators determined that the crash appeared to be intentional.
Today, the driver of the vehicle, Kade Larson, was arrested. He was taken into custody for two counts of Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide and one count of Hit and Run—Causing Great Bodily Injury. He is currently being held at the Rock County Jail pending his initial court appearance.
