The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) would like to inform the community a portion of the parking lot at the Takoma Aquatic Center (300 Van Buren Street NW) will be closed on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from approximately 5:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. to allow for equipment to access the roof.
The aquatic center will remain open during roof repairs.
