Dear Residents,

Please join us as we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country at our Memorial Day Ceremony on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., held at Washington Memorial Park.

This year’s ceremony will feature a keynote address by General Doug Slocum, with military honors provided by VFW Post #4659.

Immediately following the service, please join us at the Washington Township Municipal Hall (57900 Van Dyke, Washington, MI 48094) for complimentary hot dogs, chips, donuts, and refreshments.

Special thanks to:

• Washington Lions Club for grilling the hot dogs

• Romeo-Washington-Bruce Parks & Recreation for donating the hot dogs and chips

• Westview Orchards for generously donating the donuts

This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, honor our heroes, and enjoy fellowship. All are welcome, and we look forward to seeing you there.
