Please take note of the following schedule changes in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday:
Town Hall Closure
West Springfield Town Hall, including all administrative offices, will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025, and Friday, November 28, 2025, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, December 1, 2025.
Trash and Recycling Pickup Delay
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, trash and recycling collection services will be delayed by one day for Thursday and Friday routes only.
- If your normal pickup day is Thursday, November 27th, your trash and recycling will be collected on Friday, November 28th.
- If your normal pickup day is Friday, November 28th, your trash and recycling will be collected on Saturday, November 29th.
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday pickups will follow their regular schedule.
We encourage residents to place their bins curbside the night before their delayed pickup day to ensure collection.
