Please take note of the following schedule changes in observance of New Year's Day:
Town Hall Closure
West Springfield Town Hall, including all administrative offices, will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of New Year's Day. Regular business hours will resume on Friday, January 2, 2026.
Trash and Recycling Pickup Delay
Due to the New Year's Day holiday, trash and recycling collection services will be delayed by one day for Thursday and Friday routes only.
- If your normal pickup day is Thursday, January 1st, your trash and recycling will be collected on Friday, January 2nd.
- If your normal pickup day is Friday, January 2nd, your trash and recycling will be collected on Saturday, January 3rd.
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday pickups will follow their regular schedule.
We encourage residents to place their bins curbside the night before their delayed pickup day to ensure collection.
