Fatal Traffic Collision/Correction to earlier Nixle. Subject was transported to Los Robles Hospital 
On May 23, 2025 at approximately 3:19 p.m., the Simi Valley Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Royal Avenue reference a downed motorcycle. Upon arrival of first responders, life saving measures were performed. However the driver of the motorcycle (25 year old male, Simi Valley resident) sustained serious injuries that proved to be fatal and was pronounced deceased at Los Robles Hospital.
According to the initial information and preliminary investigation, it appears that the motorcycle driven by the 25-year-old male, eastbound Royal Avenue, lost control and crashed. Speed appears to be a factor. The motorcycle sustained major damage because of the collision. There is no indication of impairment of the driver of the motorcycle. Identification of the driver will not be released at this time, pending notification to next of kin.
