UPDATE: The City of Amsterdam has made the repair to the water main break. Residents who lost all water pressure have been notified to boil their water. All other residents are NOT under a boil water advisory.
The City of Amsterdam has located a water main break break on Church Street in the vicinity of the Amsterdam Post Office. Residents should expect a change in traffic and also residents in the area should expect low or little water pressure.
An update will be posted with any additional information and any boil water advisory.
