* At 442 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Montoya, or 18 miles west of Tucumcari. This storm was creeping slowly eastward. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Tucumcari and Montoya. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 309 and 328.
* AFFECTED AREAS: QUAY, NM
