At 542 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 18 miles northwest of Ute Lake State Park to 13 miles northeast of Sumner Lake State Park, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Tucumcari, Quay, Logan, House, Montoya and Ute Lake State Park. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 306 and 341. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 86 and 105.
