Session 5 of our San Mateo Community Police Academy runs September 11th - November 20th. Don't miss this opportunity to get the chance to see what it's like to be a police officer, without having to become one.
The application period will be opening soon. If you are interested in this 11-week program, check your availability and if you can commit to (11) Thursdays from September to November, then submit an application.
This Community Academy is open to all who live and work in San Mateo. It is designed to give our community a behind the scenes look at the San Mateo Police Department, and the how and why we do what we do. *While this may be helpful to those looking to pursue a career in law enforcement, residents and those employed here will receive priority.
