At 1111 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Parris Island, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hilton Head Island, Beaufort, Port Royal, Edisto Beach, Ladys Island, Fripp Island, Parris Island, Burton, Shell Point and Hilton Head Airport.
