Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. seeks the public’s help identifying the below pictured suspect, who stole a delivered package from the porch of a home on May 23, 2025.
At approximately 12:41 p.m., the suspect was captured on surveillance video removing the package from the porch of a home in the 600 block of North 7th Street. The suspect, described as a light-skinned male, wore a blue jacket, a black sweater underneath, dark jeans, and black and white sneakers
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
