Please be advised. DeLisa Waste Services has requested that we remind residents how to leave cardboard for recycling collection properly. These are the notes they shared:

Here’s a quick guide:

Flatten Cardboard: Break down all cardboard boxes and flatten them to reduce volume.

Tie or Bundle: Securely tie flattened cardboard boxes together using string, twine or similar materials to form bundles.

No Loose Cardboard: Please do not leave loose cardboard curbside.  Loose cardboard will blow around when the wind blows.

No Plastic or Waxed Cardboard: Do not place carboard that has plastic or wax coatings, or cardboard that is contaminated with food waste with recycling.  These materials are not recyclable.
