Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., announces that intermittent street closures will result in temporary traffic delays on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Beginning at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Thursday, May 29th
• Raymond Boulevard
• Halsey Street
• Market Street
• Warren Street
• Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard
Beginning at 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. – Thursday, May 29th
• Halsey Street
• Warren Street
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes.

He also urges anyone with information regarding criminal activities to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
